Festive Joy at Our Community Farm Funday
This past weekend, our farm was a hub of joy and excitement as we hosted our annual Festive Family Farm Funday. We welcomed almost 500 hundred community members throughout the day and the event was a resounding success!
A special mention goes out to our amazing staff and Young Volunteers who worked incredibly hard during the day, running the activities, working in the cafe and acting as Santa's elves in his grotto.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of those who attended, we are thrilled to have raised an impressive £1500! These funds will play a vital role in supporting the farm's initiatives, ensuring that we can continue to provide a welcoming space for everyone.
It really is a testament to the strength of our community and the spirit of giving, which we know can be difficult in these tough times. So we really do mean it when we say THANK YOU!
You'll be happy to know that that's not the end of our Christmas activities. Join us this weekend on Saturday 9th December as we host our Pop up Live Nativity (Beginning at 10:30am). Community members from Cockett Parish will be leading the festivities, which will include special guest appearances from some our animals.
We will also be running our Repair Cafe during the day (10:30am - 1:30pm). Bring along any broken items that need fixing and our team of talented volunteers will be on hand to mend them. This includes FREE bike service and repair.
See you there!
