Pig Society Donates to Farm

Our wonderful friends at the Wales and Border Counties Pig Breeders Association (WBCPBA) have made an amazing donation of £1400 to Swansea Community Farm. Chairperson, Barbara Warren came to the Farm last Saturday to present us with a cheque and see our amazing young people's project for herself. After many years the WBCPBA has decided to wind down and decided to redistribute their remaining funds to agricultural shows to encourage young pig keepers and us to buy some extra kit to help our young people learn about and care for pigs. The WBCPBA have been great friends to the Farm over the years, helping us out with advice, finding boyfriends for our sows, involving us in shows and generally being awesome. We will stay in touch with the friends we have made. Pig Friends for life! A massive Farm Diolch for investing in our pigs and our young people and see you soon!
