Winter Wonders at the Farm: A December to Remember
With just one week to go until the big day, we’re reflecting on a very busy December at the Farm. Thank you to all of our volunteers, community members and groups who have come out to support us and join in with some of the many festive celebrations, including our Festive Family Farm Funday and Wiggly Worms sessions.
We’d like to say a special thank you to Rev Jonathan and community members from Cockett Parish for hosting another successful Live Christmas Nativity (featuring our lovely animals). They ran sessions for 5 primary schools (Cadle, Gwyrosydd, YGG Pontybrenin and Y Login Fach), as well as hosting a whole community event the following day! Diolch yn fawr.
We also ran our successful Repair Café with Repair Café Wales which was extremely busy. Our team of volunteers mended over 20 items, including sewing machines, bikes and Christmas lights! Saving the planet, one item at the time.
As we approach the Christmas break, the Farm will be closed from Friday 22nd December and will reopen to the public on Saturday 6th December. Don’t worry, our team of dedicated volunteers will be looking after our animals and making sure they are fed and kept warm.
If you would like to contribute to the Farm this Christmas, please do consider a donation to help us care for our animals throughout the rest of the winter. Anything gifted is extremely welcome and will go a long way to supporting countless individuals.
Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda.
